I have loved the series as soon as I read it. How for more. Merry Christmas
I couldn’t stop reading it was so compelling there were lots of twists and turns loved the characters I was so invested with them
Despite many sex scenes which add little to the story, it is amazing how many details invaded in the story are significant in the end!
Keeps you spellbound to the very last page!
The book starts off with the pack in disarray. Colt has made the decision to separate himself from the pack, due to discoveries he made at the end of the previous book. Discoveries that tilted his world on its axis. The separation is wreaking havoc with man and wolves alike. What can be done to change this?
The pack continues the work with building the pack and adding more wolves, each of them searching for somewhere to fit in. To solve the mystery of their purpose in the ongoing battle between wolves and vampires, they go further on their journey to their roots. A journey that takes them to various parts of the world. It gets clearer that they are facing a war and will need allies. But what packs would align themselves with such a motley crew of outcasts? And a pack without land at that? Another issue to deal with.
On top of the growing pains and power struggle within wolf hierarchy, something is wrong. Very wrong. Colt questions himself and wonders if this feeling is only due to his own insecurities or perhaps comes from the belief that anything this good has to come to an end. Dreams don’t come true. Or do they?
In this book, the pack is deepening its bond to each other. It shows us the battle against both the outside world with old-fashioned wolves and also the inside world as they all face insecurities and old ghosts from the past in the form of family and other wolves who want nothing more than to tear them down and destroy them. All in the name of tradition or propriety, of course. Some scenes are simply heartbreaking and all you want to do is give each pack member hugs repeatedly.
Just as before, the story continues to puzzle the reader and after each chapter your brain will ache pleasantly as you try to figure out what the heck is going on. Trust me when I say, you most likely won’t be able to. But that’s OK. They story is so worth a little brain freeze of the none-ice cream related kind.
I absolutely LOVED this series! I have read THOUSANDS of books and this series is one of my FAVORITES! My only regret is that it is OVER! It has laugh out loud humor, it made you cry, it was sexy, it had action, it had suspense and YOU WILL NEVER SEE THE END COMING! I am giving this review to all the books in this series because all the books have the same qualities. I am so glad I found the series on just after book 8 was complete, it would have KILLED me to wait for any the series to come out!
